PHASE 3 - HARBOUR CITY
- In 1998, four community-based organizations, each with a long history of service to the inner north end of the City, formed a partnership and incorporated as a non-profit society - the Creighton/Gerrish Development Association (C/GDA). In 1999, the Association started work on the first stage of a four-phase plan to redevelop parts of the important block bounded by Gottingen, Cunard, Creighton and Buddy Daye Streets. C/GDA had two main objectives: to promote neighbourhood regeneration and to do that by developing housing of the highest quality which would also be affordable to residents who had always called the neighbourhood "home". Thus far, the C/GDA has successfully completed three residential projects totalling 38 dwellings and is now pleased to announce GOTTINGEN TERRACE - the final phase of the Creighton/Gerrish Development.
- In July 2009, the projects of the Creighton Gerrish Development were featured as a cover story in Canadian Architect.
